Edge, recently promoted into the Investec Premiership North, dominated the game from the outset but failed to capitalise on three early short corners. Julia Tennant finally opened the scoring in the 15th minute in a game played under glorious blue skies.

This is funded through our school sports funding premium, which is provided by central government. We congratulate the team on a fine achievement. Football There's nothing quite like the beautiful game! Netball Mrs Moore leads our netball team.
Our netball team comprises of both boys and girls who enjoy weekly practice sessions and developing their footwork and shooting skills. At this age, understanding the rules and developing team tactics plays an important part of our work. Tri-Golf Tri-golf is a fun way of introducing children to golf.
Towards the end of the tri-golf programme, pupils are invited to compete against other local teams in a friendly, yet competitive tournament. Matthew is an incredibly supportive coach for our pupils who enjoy the opportunity to develop their skills in an unfamiliar sport.
Tag Rugby Mr Draper leads our tag rugby team. Our cross country team compete against schools from the Wilmslow Education Partnership in an annual race at the Carrs in Wilmslow.
In previous years we have been fortunate enough to have competed very well in this event with pupils enjoying both individual and collective successes. Historically, the school has performed well in local basketball competitions, being county runners-up in before being crowned county champioins the following year - an incredible success for such a small school!
Cricket As we head towards summer, we make the most of opportunities for pupils to enjoy a range of outdoor extra-curricular activities. Part of our summer programme is our weekly cricket club. Pupils play a version of cricket known as 'Kwick Cricket' which is an all-action, fast and intense version of the popular summertime sport.
The team play against other schools in competitions and we are sometimes able to arrange friendly fixtures with local schools. Athletics Another summer sport, athletics offers opportunities across a number of disciplines for pupils to achieve success.
Track and field events are designed to test a range of different aptitudes and pupils enjoy competing against those from other schools in their preferred events. As part of this commitment, all pupils in KS2 receive swimming instruction each year.
Those with greater confidence and can swim at speed are invited to represent the school in an annual Small Schools' Swimming Gala. In previous years, we have been successful in earning a number of medals and pupils enjoy the opportunity to come together and support each other during these competitive events.
Rounders As part of the Fallibroome Learning Community, we join our partner schools for a brillinat rounders festival hosted by the Fallibroome Academy in the summer term. Rounders is an enjoyable addition to our sporting curriculum, which is enjoyed by all pupils and those who excel are offered the opportunity to represent the school team.
