And we're going to be talking today about some of the advancements in vMix 22 specifically GT Designer. So what was the impenitence behind updating your existing designer. Martin Sinclair: So we've been looking for a really efficient.
So we've decided, okay, let's just build into vMix. It's a large project and it's something I've been really excited to build for some time.
So now what we have is animated graphics, you have the GT designer, which is this dedicated application it can bring in all of your elements, you can even import Adobe Photoshop.
Brings in all your layers and then you have a choice of transitions, pretty much the same way as you might do transitions and animations in Microsoft Powerpoint. It's is as easy as that. We've decided to make it as easy to use as possible. So if you're familiar with power point, you can create animated high-performance graphics in HD and 4K for your production now with vMix Now if you've got a reasonable graphics card, even graphics on laptops you can do these graphics without using any system performance usage.
So it won't impact your production, in fact, it will probably speed it up if you're using the previous titles. Now you can use these fully animated ones, and also get some the performance back from your computer at the same time.
Shawn Lam: All right, let's have a look. Of course we have scoreboard titles. We have these sort of titles with animations; we even have social media animated titles.
So this one sort of has a psychedelic moving border. Both on the top and the bottom there that's fully animated.
This one here even has a little bit of 3D effects.
So we've got some 3D cubes. So we have over built-in templates covering titles, tickers, scoreboards, and social media. So it can access the hamburger menu, as we affectionately call it. And we the new option called GT Title Designer. Pretty familiar to users of programs like Powerpoint, and other Office applications.
Where I can drag and drop elements like that.
I can create some text fields, and then I can go to the animation tab and I can choose Bounce, and let's just call it "fly. And we have transition in, transition out. We have different pages, we even have continuous transitions, so if I wanted this cube to rotate, I could do that, set a speed for it.
So it's as easy as point and click to create your own animated graphics. Shawn Lam: What about Photoshop import, are you able to download that? So I could say, have that fly in from the left have this fly in from the right.
And there we go I've created Shawn Lam: So you can still edit, so you can change halftime spelled out correctly right?
Martin Sinclair: Yeah, so it can Adjust that a little bit Shawn Lam: Okay. So it supports static, 2D elements from Photoshop, but then the text elements can be edited, right from in the editor.
Just like that. Shawn Lam: And once this is created, how do we get it into vMix? Title from Photoshop.
And then all you have to do is go to vMix, title tab, recent and it'll be right there, ready to add to the production. Simply find it in the list, turn it on and there we go. As easy as that. Shawn Lam: All right.
