The Russian submitted the Dubliner in the fourth round last October but was forced on to the sidelines when he was banned for his part in the brawl that followed his victory. In the meantime, Poirier won the 'interim' lightweight title by beating featherweight champion Max Holloway to set up a shot at the full champion.

What is the full card? The bitter rivals clashed last October when Nurmagomedov retained his UFC lightweight title by fourth-round submission. They then became embroiled in a post-fight brawl which landed both fighters with fines and suspensions.
McGregor has not fought since having been caught up in several legal controversies while Nurmagomedov will defend his belt against Dustin Poirier at UFC next weekend.
And the Russian is in no mood to offer the former champion a second shot.
